Product designer and visualisation artist helping innovative ideas come to life through design, renders, and branding.
About Me
My name is Toby Smith
Hi, I’m Toby — a product designer and visualisation artist currently studying at university. I specialise in turning early-stage ideas into tangible, polished visuals through a mix of CAD modelling, high-quality rendering, branding design, and rapid prototyping.
I enjoy collaborating with indie makers, startups, and creatives to help shape their product ideas — whether that’s through Fusion 360 prototypes, branded product renders in Blender, or visual identity concepts. My work focuses on blending technical accuracy with a creative edge, helping people visualise their ideas in a way that feels both thoughtful and professional.
I’ve got a bit of a running joke about how I hate instruction manuals — because I believe good products shouldn’t need them. Design should be intuitive enough that people just get it the moment they interact with it. That’s the kind of experience I aim to create.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me outdoors — mountain biking, wild camping, or at home playing guitar and rehearsing for gigs. Some of my favourite projects draw from these interests, blending my passions with my design work.
I'm currently studying at university, focused on refining my skills, expanding my portfolio, and collaborating with people who are passionate about what they’re creating. If that's you, let’s connect.
